uTorrent headed to the big screen

The BBK BitTorrent Box is finally here.
The set-top runs on Android and will allow users to stream files downloaded through uTorrent right to their TV.

Additionally, the box can download torrents itself, and can playback all types of video formats including MKV, AVI and WMV.


The device supports DLNA, meaning it can access your other media libraries, as well.

Mafia 3 In Development For Next-Gen Consoles?

Mafia 3 is currently in production for the next generation of consoles, according to a 2K Games source close to Eurogamer.cz. Come on, isn't the proof enough for you? The source says Mafia 3 was once intended as a Xbox 360 and PS3 title, but was pushed back to hit the next console cycle.

Allegedly, Mafia 3 will launch on the Xbox 720 and PS4 in 2013.

SimCity - Beta Begins On January 25th

Electronic Arts today announced that the SimCity beta will run from January 25 – January 28. Those who previously signed up are already in consideration for access to the beta, limited slots are still available for late applicants. Eager fans who want to get an advance look at SimCity have a limited time to sign up at the game's official website before the application process ends at 2am, GMT on January 21.

Galaxy S IV confirms Exynos 5 Octa CPU

Well, not exactly a secret but Samsung Galaxy S IV makes an appearance in Antutu Benchmarks, both the Korean variant (SHV-E300S) and the International variant (GT-I9500). According to the benchmarks the Galaxy S IV has an Exynos 5 Octa processor clocked at 1.8GHz and it runs Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean out of the box.

NVIDIA: Era of fully-custom console hardware is over

NVIDIA Ceo Jen-Hsun Huang states that that fully-custom hardware for video game consoles is no longer feasible. Huang explains that with the power delivered by today's CPUs and GPUs, it no longer makes sense to spend lots of money into the development of custom processors with odd architectures, such as the Cell chip developed by Sony, Toshiba and IBM. Apple reported its quarterly earnings today, and shareholders took a beating for it.
The company beat analyst estimates for earnings per share, but fell short on revenue and in other notable areas.

In after hours trading, the stock fell $50 per share, erasing almost $50 billion in company value in just 4 hours.
