Warning - ETS2 scam!

We have received a warning about something going on which may cause a lot of grief to people falling in for the scheme. Here is a quote of this warning e-mail:

I've seen this link floating around facebook: http://bests-games-ever.blogspot.co.uk/ ... r-mod.html
It claims to offer a mod for multiplayer, but requires you to fill in questionnaires and ties you into a monthly payments. I just wanted to pass this on to you in hopes that SCS Software could do something about it or at the very least [...]

Left 4 Dead 3 is in the making?

A sneaky developer has managed to discover a reference to Left 4 Dead 3 on Valve’s Steamworks site, suggesting that the sequel to the much loved zombie slaying title, Left 4 Dead 2, could be in the works. Interestingly though, the man responsible for the hack, was banned almost immediately after leaking the information.

Confirmed: Must connect every 24 hours
Confirmed: Used games are playable, but only at a publishers discretion and only from "participating retailers"
Confirmed: Xbox Kinect can be turned off, but not disconnected.
Confirmed: You can "loan" games to people who have been on your friends list for 30+ days, but this wont go live at launch.
Confirmed: you can share games among '10 family members'... whatever that means?

Microsoft denies it pays rep managers to post positively about the Xbox One on Reddit

Earlier this week, a poster with the name "mistysilver" made a large post on Reddit claiming that "reputation managers" were being paid by the software giant Microsoft to post positively about the upcoming Xbox One console.

Gottfrid Svartholm Warg, infamous as one of the co-founders of The Pirate Bay torrent tracker, is facing even more hacking charges, this time in Denmark.
Warg had just stood trial in Stockholm over major hacking charges and is awaiting a decision.

Microsoft: Don't have Internet? No Xbox One for you, get an Xbox 360 instead

Xbox boss Don Mattrick, during an interview this week, had an interesting response for gamers who may not be fans of needing an always-on Internet connection.
"Fortunately we have a product for people who aren't able to get some form of connectivity, it's called Xbox 360,"

"If you have zero access to the internet, that is an offline device."

Xbox One Limited To 21 Countries At Launch

Microsoft's Xbox One preorder information page states that the console will only support Live in only 21 countries at launch, and therefore presumably won't work anywhere else.

If you were planning on preordering an Xbox One console, you'd be well advised to do yourself a favor and make sure you live in one of these 21 nations:
