We made some more changes to the news thing. Now you will be able to see all in once place.

We combined two categories. One is IAAG News and the other is all the other world news that you can post.


Hope its not that confusing as it sounds. Also for those users who want to have lots of forum money, if you post new News, you will get 4 times more forum money, than you get posting in other categories.

Google Earth 7 brings 3D cities, tour guide to Desktop app

Google Earth for mobile features come to Desktops.
Google Earth for mobile enables users to view some cities and locations in 3D in excellent detail, while also providing a tour guide feature that acted as a local expert for a covered location.

Now, Google has announced Google Earth 7 for Desktops, which brings both previously mobile-only features to your PC screens. The tour guide feature now covers 11,000 popular sites around the world, and the list of cities with 3D imagery is growing.

Microsoft sued over Windows 8 Live Tiles

Firm claims it invented Live Tiles in the 90s
SurfCast, a software firm, has sued Microsoft in Maine over the Live Tiles that appear on the Start Screen of Windows 8 - as well as Windows Phone 7 and Windows Phone 8.

Its case comes down to a patent filed in the year 2000, and granted in 2004, describes a "system and method for simultaneous display of multiple information sources". Microsoft's Live Tiles are one of the points it keeps bringing up about how Windows Phone 8 differs fro [...]

Minecraft developer will not certify game for Windows 8

Minecraft creator Markus "Notch" Persson has said he will not "certify" the popular game for the upcoming Windows 8 operating system.
Persson is not the only person to voice displeasure with the new OS, which is seen as being a closed platform similar to Xbox Live.

Major developers like id Software, Blizzard and Valve have all called the new OS's storefront a major step back for the industry.

You may not realize that Microsoft has actually been a proponent of the tablet PC for more than a decade. In fact as early as 2002 they were releasing a tablet PC version of Windows. For numerous reasons previous generations of the Windows tablet PC simply didn't work for most people. The interface wasn't particularly tablet friendly, the operating system was too power hungry, and PC hardware really wasn't suitable in a variety of ways.

Developers are currently taking receipt of a new PlayStation 4 dev kit, VG247 has been told today, with a final version slated to appear in January. Yes, it’ll have Blu-ray. No, it isn’t being made in Japan. Multiple sources have confirmed today that a new version of the Orbis kit is now shipping to developers, and that it’s housed in a normal PC case.
