^ This is exactly why i've been telling people for years to never plug a found USB drive in to their PC.

Agreed. It's a safety issue. You wouldn't open your door for someone you don't know and let them in, same thing

back in a day USB flash drives were expensive, so imagine you find one on the street, of course you would keep it and use it
