I agree, I like the Moto X, but it's too expensive here ($250), and the Nokia is pushing my budget too.
What do you guys think of these 2 models from a Romanian company?

Re: New smartphone
never heard about them, can't really say anything about them. if i where you , i would save some money and get a known brand phone, like something from samsung, or nexus 5 or moto x. i'm not really sold on those cheap strange brand phones.
i use to have lots of phones, and i did come across some strange brand ones that where total pice of crap... like chinese iphone, man that thing was so bad that to make the touch pad work you need to hit it with a hammer
i actually accidently cracked the screen when pressing back button... and it still dint worked..
bottom line is, you get what you paid for, so save some money and buy something that will definitely work and wont be a total crap and waste of money cause i've been there done that and it sucks!

Re: New smartphone
Hey hey. It's fun to look at these old posts I made and see what I ended up buying.
So it's been 7 years, I've changed 2 phones since this post
I did purchase an Allview P5 Life and then about 3 years ago I bought an Allview P9 Energy Mini.
Basically, in July the phone refused to boot after a normal reboot, stuck on "Optimizing app 1 of 1" and then it would loop back again and restart. I ended up doing a factory reset and it worked. However, after the preinstalled apps update, the phone can't reboot, and I can't delete those at all. So my phone is sort of a time bomb, if the battery runs out it needs a full reset...
I contacted support and they did not answer, so I don't intend to buy another Allview phone.
I've been putting off buying a new phone because I liked the removeable 4000 mAh battery (which I replaced about a year ago) and the relatively small size (144x71mm). It's not very responsive though and often the screen lags and is sluggish.
I tried to find some phones similar to this but they are either too big or they don't have removeable batteries/the battery is pretty small.
First of all, is battery life that important? I charge my phone very 2-3 days the way I use it now. I only bought a big battery because I figured it will last longer if it goes through fewer charging cycles. Will a smaller battery lose it's capacity faster?
Also, I see phones don't really have removeable batteries anymore, I don't really like that. I know it makes them thin, but it's more work when replacing the battery and you can't pull the battery out to do a hard reset.
Anyway, I use my phone for calling, Whatsapp and Youtube, that's all. No mobile games, photos aren't really important to me either. And I like small phones.
So what would you recommend? My max budget would be 200 euros, I think, if the phone is really good and worth it.
I was looking at Samsung A20e as a starting point (120 euros)

I do like the way the Nokia 4.2 looks, but it seems expensive for what it offers (153 euros, but around 112 euros on sale)

Or maybe Motorola Moto E6s Plus (100 euros)?

Re: New smartphone
At the top of my budget would be the Samsung A41, 3500mAh battery and small (150x70mm) size. Anything better under 200 euros?

Nokia 5.3. Google 1, so always the latest updates and OS. Mine just updated to 11, before I got robbed.

Re: New smartphone
Sorry to hear you got robbed, when did that happen, I wasn't aware of it.
Thanks for the suggestion, however, that phone is about 164mm tall, and I was looking around 150mm.
However, the Nokia 4.2 has Android One and it's smaller, I guess you'd recommend that for my needs instead?

Re: New smartphone
If you want a smaller model, I would definitely go for the 4.3.

Re: New smartphone
Personally, I'd go with the A41 you mentioned. Offers best bang for buck, has nice specs, battery capacity and the best screen out of all of them.

Re: New smartphone
Thanks for the input guys.
I'm leaning towards Se7en's opinion, I like the Samsung A41 for the size, screen and battery.
Is there any other small phone I should look for around 200 euros? I usually wait a few days before buying just so I can explore all options and not rush, but I'm tempted to get the Samsung pretty soon in this case because I don't see anything else.
