Me too! Gonna have to go back there one day...what a view!

The beeping is something called the audio variometer - an instrument that tells you if the air you're in is rising or sinking, so we use it to find thermals. There's a mechanical one on the instrument panel we can look at but the electronic audio one means I can listen to that information instead so I don't have to be staring at the instrument panel!

i remember when i played Microsoft Flight Simulator X with a glider, it also had that beeping sound and it worked just as you describe :emoji2:

So I've been meaning to get this ready for nearly a year! Finally got round to editing some of the footage from what is definetly my most epic gliding trip yet... French alps last June! What a place... enjoy!



Expect a few more! Got a lot of clips to sort through...lots of flying, lots of saabs, lots of random time Lapses!
