Oh yeah, V8! Now every truck after this without V8 is a disappointment :emoji6:

You go Kjetil! You can do it. And how those it compare to Euro Truck ''Simulator''?

I remember my driving lessons very well; a DAF 95 XF 400 ATI with a curtain trailer. I already had experience driving our trucks on the yard, but the first time in the big city in rush hour traffic had my hands sweating and a raised heart beat. That was really different from driving around on a yard :D :D

Thanks guys!

A couple of things, alot of focus on well, making sure ur ass does not hit anything when ur making a turn, alot of mirror checking keeping a eye out for any sneaky cars on the entry to roundabouts and so on. And some places its just better to take tons of room to block off cars making it easier for urself

The big thing my brain is struggling with is, with the cab being on air and the movement, i constantly get the feeling of the truck running off the road. So my brain tells my arms to move the wheel, ofc its not needed since the truck is still within the lines lol

We backed up to a loading bay to, raised the back axle while driving trough the yard, lined up and dropped it back down when the lineup was sorted

Got into my massive station wagon after and it felt like a tiny toy, made me sad :D

Nice job on the first day! :)
My biggest concern while driving a truck was the tail swing, with every turn you have to keep an eye on the opposite side of the truck while turning. Especially here where the cars want to get by the truck at all costs, not knowing the potential accident they can create. That's why truck (and bus) drivers have to think both for themselves and for the other cars around them.
You're better off blocking both lanes before you turn. It's better to be honked at than to drag a car on your rear bumper through the intersection! :D

Looks good! It must be quite demanding to get those around on cities and country roads but hey if loads of people do it why wouldn't you be able to? :D

Not easy but as long as the rest of the traffic cooperates no problem, we drove some narrow back roads with mountainsides leaning towards the road, so could not keep to the left side of the road...scary

On another note, theory exam done, 6/7 max allowed mistakes so passed, pheeeew :D
