I've never seen those in real life! How do they drive, do you feel the height through the steering wheel? Or does it have clever suspension that eliminates that?

Suspension definitely helps out a bit, so it's not noticeable at a moderate speed. But on highways, when travelling at top speed (100 km/h limiter), you can definitely feel the sway.
This bus in particular has a roof aircon unit, which makes it more top-heavy. Usually DD buses have the aircon unit near the engine compartment behind the two rear axles.

[Plane And Simple]

It impressed me a lot when I rode one of those to London. In cities I suppose it feels ok (apart from it being between 2 and 5km long) but the wind on that must feel insane.

You're right, if it's windy weather, when the gusts hit, it's pretty much this:

Lenght can be a problem in certain city areas, but once you get the feel for the bus dimensions, it gets easier. Also, the tag axle helps out a lot when turning.

Yeah, love dashboards at night! And old school analog gauges and switches, not those ugly screens they use nowadays.
