A bit over a month ago, I changed the company I work for. The current one offers way more work variety and different types of buses.
In the past month I have been constantly on the road, so excuse the lack of involvement with forum and Discord activities.
A brief (but picture heavy) overview of that I've been driving in the past month:
To start off with the bus that I drove the most so far in team with my friend:
VDL Futura DD, aka. the biggest motherfucker of them all!
And the reason for its nickname, besides the overall dimensions
Next up, Mercedes-Benz Intouro. It's 18 years old, but drives like a dream.
I swear the steering and gear shifter is lighter than the one in my car!
Also, it has the best bus dashboard ever (in my opinion)! Very simple and clean.
City bus which I briefly drove, from service back to company base.
Otokar Kent C, it's brand new, delivered to the company in February. The visibility is great and the gearbox is insanely fast to shift and pick up speed.
Went to Slovenia with my colleagues to pick up some second-hand buses. Me and one colleague got assigned to Mercedes Intouro buses, others got some Peugeot vans-minibuses.
Same story as with the white Intouro above, it is old, but drives amazing. After a brief detailing in the company base, should be good for shorter bus routes. They are generally well kept for their age.
Also got that sweet old-gen MB dash!
And some driving videos from the way back from Slovenia, nothing but boring highways thru Croatia.
Also excuse the dusty dash, they have been out of service for a bit and I didn't have time to clean it prior to setting off.
“Every time I learn something new, it pushes some old stuff out of my brain.”
Love the diversity in buses you get to drive! That VDL is indeed a big boy, nice DAF steering wheel in that one Thanks for sharing the photos and videos, enjoyed them.
