Re: Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020
I'm still in awe when I see the graphics of this game! Even the reflection of the cockpit on the glass.
I see a little spec on the second screenshot, so that must be your friend.

AAAAAAAAAH THE CHRISTMAS LIGHTS
Anyway, some 3.5 hours of flying with my friend.
Los Angeles to San Francisco to Las Vegas. Awesome, honestly. The departure out of SFO gets you at 3000 feet until you're past the golden gate apparently. Best views i've ever seen.

Re: Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020
Today's flight on a very tricky Boston/NY area. Heavy icing as you can see an a crapton of traffic. Super challenging with very low ceilings and a fully overcast cruise at 22000ft but best fun i've had in a while.

Re: Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020
Still amazed and impressed!
Stupid question: how hard is this sim? I remember back in the late 80s early 90s on our Commodore 64 we had 'Ace of Aces' a WW2 flying simulator. Took me forever to figure out how to get the plane started let alone fly.

Re: Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020
As of right now, For the A320, a couple hours of studying can have you flying it just fine. If you want to be able to solve every situation, expect to multiply that for at least 10. In a few months, when the real airliners come out and all the systems are simulated, you can expect a couple months of study before you can get going on these from A to B safely and knowledgeably just like the old FSX/P3D was (and I can't wait for that time

This is the most realistic game I've ever seen! Beautiful shots.
