Re: Installing Linux The "Right" Way
Watched the video, there are some great tips on how to install Debian without bloatware.
Always have been interested in Linux, back in the day I used to try out Ubuntu for fun even though for me it was useless cause you couldn't play games or use any software that I used on Windows. Yes, there was Wine, but it was shit most of the time and it didn't work properly. But I think some things are changing nowadays with the release of SteamOS and I think games support for Linux is getting better. And to be honest, that's the only thing keeping me on Windows still.
Also have been reading into Arch Linux which is like super-advanced way of getting Linux cause you pretty much configure everything by yourself and you get to decide what you want and what you don't.
Also the UI customizability is great, I mean look at this screenshot, at first glance it looks like macOS

I might experiment with it once I get some time, but for now, it's still beyond my knowledge of Linux!

Mac is based on Unix
Arch is more for advanced users. Mint is pretty light for beginners, used it few times and it was pretty good. Ubuntu was kinda crap, felt slow like he mentioned

Yeah, Mint just by it's looks reminds me of Windows 7/10. I think most Windows users could adapt to it pretty easily.
Ubuntu nowadays is loaded with too much stuff you don't need, it's like the Samsung of the Linux world, if that makes sense
