I'm working 14-16h every day. So when I come home, I can cook, eat, and go to bed.
But today I am sleeping at a parking place near nurnberg.

My previous job was 8-9h everyday and I had a life for friends, hobbys and gym :emoji23:

To be honest, I'd do the same thing. Great choice on your end!
Even though the money might have been better while driving the semi truck with 16hr shifts, honestly no amount of money can substitute not sleeping in your bed at night, hanging out with friends etc... That's one bad side with trucking, especially those who drive internationally.

Wise choice! There is more to life than work.

At first the offer was great. More money, new mercedes truck
But now I understand why the money is high. You eork much more hours.
I compared the money wirh the previous job with less hours and what do I get now? Less money in one hour lol

That's how they get you. New life lesson learned. I'm working all my in the transport sector, and I almost know all the ins and outs, but what gets me the most is that in 2020 drivers are still exploited. We get eastern Europe drivers here that work for almost nothing. They drive and drive for months on end for just a few pennies. They live in their trucks. Everybody is equal? Don't make me laugh.

I still drive trucks from time to time, but I said to my boss I want this amount of money for it. Take it or leave it, still friends. Not going to bust a hump to earn some cash driving and working hard for days.

Reminds me of yesterday, a truck and trailer with license plates from the Netherlands, branded with posten, the main norwegian mail company. Its a thing here now, means hes here living in the truck driving for cheap for them, cheaper than Norwegian drivers
