The weather topic!

I'm always been very interested in the weather and it's a subject that's discussed every day. So let's talk about weather!

They are expecting over 20cm of snow this friday here in the Netherlands! And pretty cold to: -10 degrees. We already had some snow this morning; about 3 cm.
This weekend about 5cm of snow fell, and the first accidents here in my region already happend:



This Golf Plus has snow tyres, but managed to slip into a small ditch!

Glad I'm not the only one who's interested ... UK/Holland/France/Belgium really don't know how to drive in snow! Is that golf stuck then? it looks like it ought to be able to get out of there. That view is fantastic! Todays little snow here is all gone, nothing to worry about, but as usual airports have all ground to a halt ... we're bloody useless lol

There's nothing wrong with UK or other countries... They are just being too safety conscious. My country wouldn't close the airport (or anything else) even if a tornado warning is issued.
The authorities here just don't give a shit about what's happening and what is going to happen.

The weather, one of my favorite things!

Today has been mainly sunny, with temperatures around -3*C. Small snow showers did occur...
Now, it's currently a toasty -4*C (only like the cold, when there's snow)!

@Alex: glad I got a racing licence! Learned so much about car handling at the course. Always have snow tyres in the winter and have a quattro car (but that one always sleeps in garage during the winter ) But the A1 is front wheel drive, so handles fine in the snow.

It's cold at this moment, with -8 and a gail force wind 8. Some snow and hail.
