Probably boot sequence problem. Go in to the BIOS and select the new SSD. And if you want to install from a USB you need to select that one.

this is a boot error, usaly caused by bad configuration in bios or when your boot drive cannot be read. try max suggestion, start with the bios and check if ssd selected as boot device. you also need to select usb if you want to install windows from it. i hate laptop bioses...

I tried 2 usb sticks. 1x 64gb and 1x 8gb.
One time with Windows 10 and one time with 8.1

I installed ubuntu 16 lts on the 64gb and it starts with no problems.
I downloaded win10 again in the ubuntu live session and put the .iso directly into the ssd. Same error when I start the ssd.

you mean this error Media test failure, check cable?

Ubuntu can run on a potato, but did you tried installing ubuntu on the SSD? and booting from SSD? With what windows does the laptop came with? Did you tried installing windows 7 on the SSD as a test to see if it works? you can update windows 7 in windows to Win10, maybe that will work.

Also did you tied installing windows 10 on to the old HDD?

yea I installed W7 from a original cd into the new ssd, worked good, but couln't start an update. Either search for updates, or anytime upgrade.

"Never change a running system" So I'm afraid when I update the old ssd :D,

maybe I copy the old ssd to the new ssd with samsung migration tool

Weird you can't install Win10. Upgraded quite a view pc's and laptops. Never encountered any problems. So you still can't use a flash drive to install 10?

I would install 7, then use the Media Creation Tool and create a USB bootable media.

I tried this already with the old ssd with w7.
I can download win10 and when the setup wants to build or do something, the laptop crashes- I'm no joking.
When I tried everything on that sunday, it gave me at the end a black screen with "CPU overheated"

Really want to help you out, but I have no idea at the moment. Searched the net for a while, but can't find a good answer.

The only thing I can think of now: renew the thermal paste and try again. But I don't think that's the problem...
