Yes! I had my first lesson today, infact just came back from driving school! :D
It was awesome, had two lessons today. First lesson was on the training polygon, getting a feel for the bus, size, clutch etc... And on the second lesson I went out on the road for the first time. It went well and the instructor was also satisfied. Big thanks to OMSI, of course! :emoji12:

Anyway, the bus. It's a 2003 Ferqui Solera built on Iveco chassis. It's a 10-meter bus, a bit shorter than classic solo buses which are usually around 12 meters. It has a 6-speed manual gearbox. Classic H-pattern shifting.

Thanks! Most of the buses and trucks that companies own nowadays are automatic, but driving schools here opt for manual transmission in all vehicles.
I'm not sure if there's a law in my country that requires driving schools to have manual transmission vehicles, but I'm yet to see an automatic used for practical training.

Its a good choice tbh, never know what you will come across later in life and its good to have an idea of how to shift something big...automatic is beyond braindead :D

Sorry for the double but learning on an auto only earns you an "auto only" license, at least here. Might be why.

I've heard they do that in the USA and a couple of EU countries, but not in my country.
