Usually don't like fancy places but worked out this time :D they could salvage the old protector and re-atach it(got a feeling alot of garages would replace it without trying), nothing to bad showed up on the general check either. Some more of the inner protection around the left wheel well area that does needs replacement. Apparantly 1 back spring had broken and 10-15k km left on breakpads. Bill ended up being 90€, they gained my trust today

Its 1 firm that does Audi and VW, they do half of the building for each brand. VW part is just over the bushes on the right

That's not much money! Did that include the spring? I always go for parts to our local dealer, do everything myself. No imitation crap on our cars. I only let them do the MOT and oil changes, because discharging the oil is quite expensive over here. 85,- euros for an oil change, including the oil filter. Oil is expensive...

Not including the spring, this was on the please come back to us and let us fix this list i got in hand when it was done :D

Good idea to go back there for parts, extra price is abit of a small sacrifice...like avoiding the cheapo breakpads the last cardealer used on my car :emoji12:

Hmm you would love living here i think, we got a recycling station that's open twice per week, can get rid of oil for free, long as its in a container

I used two times imitation spare parts, both times they failed me. It never fits 100% (body parts) and brakes are worn out faster then the original. Except if you buy upgraded parts like Brembo and others. And most of the times the difference is just a tenner.

And I never save on tires and brakes, those are the most important things on a car. Don't save on your safety!

if only car sales ppl were thinking that way :D

Probably will go ahead and replace them in the spring. Thinking about the numbers, these pads got put on to get the car trough the 2 year MOT test we got here, bought the car and have driven 8.5k, garage said like 10k left..low numbers :emoji12:
