Yeah I especially need a cool chair. 43ºC here in summer aren't nice on leather seats.

nah, it doesn't do that good of a job and also you basically sit on the fans, so the seat is hard and there is no cushion

No, got a Mk5 GTI seat from the breakers yard for 50,- euros. Cleaned it with the extractor. Mounted a plate on the old seat frame, and placed the seat on that. Sturdy and really comfy!

Nice! I did the same with a Saab leather seat! So comfy! Need to remake the base though as I mounted it to an office chair base on a block of wood, and it's not very stable. How did you do it with the Golf seat?

my guess sheet of metal plate bolted to the chair base thing and then you bold the chair it self to the plate
